This past weekend Britt and I were a part of a prodigious celebration for Megan and Andrew’s wedding. When I say prodigious, I mean deep in the western heart of North Carolina, winding through the roaring heights and lows for a drive, and finding yourself having to remember to breathe when you reach your destination. Followed up by remembering to breathe, you are welcomed by the refreshing winds of elevation and Meg’s creative shore as you become engulfed in the meticulous detail and punctilious blueprint for an unforgettable wedding. Her blueprint is one stamped on her heart by more than Pinterest boards and frilly bridal magazines. Megan’s Creator so beautifully releases creativity in her life. Of course, we guys, grooms, husbands – we like to be creative, but we all learn at some point that it’s really her call. Andrew enjoyed the creative side, but his heart was set on something greater. Something more eternal, more tangible, and more delightful than ribbon, flowers, and reclaimed wood. More than anything, Andrew was ready to take Megan as his bride. This is just half of the story. For now, here’s the beginning of a beautiful day that ended in perfection.
