Carly’s Senior Session – Goldsboro, North Carolina

If there was ever a post that made me want to run around and scream, “Summer is here, Summer is here!”, it would be this one!

Carly contacted me a few days ago about squeezing in a senior portrait session before she graduated and luckily we were able to make it happen.  Her beautiful friend Kara just recently had a session done & Carly decided she needed one too.  I knew that Kara’s referral meant that Carly’s session would be full of great fashion and would be exciting to photograph (because that’s exactly how Kara’s session was)….and I was right!  Carly met me at Fringe Salon to have her hair & makeup done by the fabulous Cassie Erdmann.  We laughed and spent time chatting about girly things like hair extensions, jewelry, makeup, and of course fashion.  Speaking of fashion, Carly chose an amazing sea foam color dress with ruffles cascading down the back for her first outfit.  Paired nicely with a chunky coral reef shaped gold necklace, a pair of wedge sandals, and a hand tied bouquet of flowers, Carly rocked her first location and was all smiles…even in the 85 degree weather.  I’m pretty positive she could be a model.  What do you think? After such a stunning outfit, I was anxiously anticipating what Carly would wear next.  Sticking what she would call her “Preppy Style”, Carly showed off in a pair of white skinny jeans paired with a bright blue blouse with a bow in the back & a silver monogram necklace.   Oh, I can’t forget her cute multi-colored wedge sandals; they tied the outfit together perfectly!

Carly- Thanks for being such a beautiful person inside & out!  I wish you much success on your journey to Meredith in the fall.  In the mean time, enjoy your summer; may it be full of all the things you love so much: chocolate, shopping trips, toes in the sand, a Nicholas Sparks book, and quality time with your family & friends!  You’re a doll & being your photographer was an absolute blast!  :)
